2004-2017 Utah has been the better football program.

The late 70's, 80's, 90's was storied enough for byu that it helps make a solid case for BYU still being the better program. However the Utes two undefeated seasons, two BCS wins, joining a big boy league, dominance of the rivalry since 2004 makes a strong case that the Utes have leap frogged byu football. It's sad but it's objectively true.
