I should say that his final season was disappointing and his legacy overall

Is overrated. I also blame it on 3 season ending injuries (that affected his offseason) and having 3 different offensive coordinators as much as anything. But he never beat Utah or ended a season ranked. These are hardly the greatest achievements of past BYU greats.
