For a company, going MLM is a great way to sell product and put the onus of marketing it on others. Pretty clever. But that's different from it being a smart business for a consultant.

"Two of my wife's friends got in early and have done remarkably well via LLR. I thought it was the dumbest idea ever and they were set up for financial disaster. I was wrong. The market is oversaturated with leggings and consultants now so things are definitely slowing down, but these two had perfect timing, rode the wave, and made some nice $$$,"

...at the expense of all their friends whose purchases funded it, who can't resell it or return it.
