but what you're beginning to see are less MLMs promoting the business side. I was told last week that only about 20% of those signed up for Young Living are doing it as a business. I used to work at an MLM that has now gone under, and I could see the writing on the wall when all they were about was getting distributors to take part in the business side and trying to recruit execs or successful distributors from other MLM companies in hopes they bring their downlines with them. That's when you know they're only in it for the $ or short term gains and glad I got out. The other factor is the FTC came down basically saying distributors can't provide testimonials/claims on products unless it's been tested, or have some sort of scientific proof. Customers really don't have to abide by that rule since they're not employed by the company.
