You can argue that a Bronco / Anae led team wouldn't have beaten LSU or Wisconsin. You can argue the former staff's past failures against Utah would have led to the same result this year, though I think every year is different.
But whether it's Kalani's or Ty's fault or not, I was never this down about BYU's prospects under any Bronco team. Maybe he'd be in the same spot record-wise; maybe the offense would have looked this bad since it's his personnel out there. But I am feeling like we're much worse off now than we were 1 or 2 years ago. Hopefully this is just the painful adjustment period and it'll get better as we recruit better and Ty teaches the O (assuming either is possible). But for now it doesn't feel like it's headed that direction.
Do I miss Bronco? Yeah, kind of. I think I knew his imperfections and he still got us to 9 wins per year on average. We'll see if we get there this year. I'm thinking 8-5 (pre-bowl) is our current best case scenario. Hard to see us beating BSU or MSU.
