I appreciate your perspective. As a non-participant, I see overreaction on both
sides. I think he blew things way out of proportion and was hyper-sensitive. I think you saw him escalate and instead of de-escalating the situation you decided to go full silverback ape.
Hey, it's your site and you can do whatever you want with it. As with any organization, there are a certain number of "yes men" that will tell you what you want to hear and stroke your ego, whether they realize they're doing it or not.
I think you're usually level headed and when you have the benefit of hindsight, you'll realize that you could have handled this situation differently and avoided all the drama. Then again, you're in the business of driving page views so maybe you like the drama...
