Hoge and now with Mangum. Pro-style QBs usually are not successful in college. A lot of schools are abandoning the pro-style including Alabama. Successful Pro-style systems in college are rare. It's a big risk to implement because you only get players for 3-4 years. I love the idea of Pro-style but it never seems to work (see Doman). Big O-Lineman, and TEs fit into an air raid/spread system just fine (see Harlin, Coats, Pitta, George, and all the big O-lineman from 2005-2009.
