I do think there is still a chance at P5, and that is why I argue for G5 membership.
If we want to put our best foot forward for a possible P5 membership, we need to be nationally relevant. The only way to do that in any meaningful way is to join a conference and go about the business of winning and re-establishing a winning culture with the program.
I don't think exposure will truly take a hit, and I think if we did move to a G5 conference there would be some negotiations about our ESPN contract.
I'll be interested to see what happens when our contract runs out in 2019.
