That's a lot of hyperbole all in one post
While Squally Canada was a 4 star recruit, he showed up to Washington State and got buried in the depth chart. That's why he left. He was never going to be a feature back no matter how much he was coached up. He's a competent backup, but there is not a coach in the world that could turn him into a star.

I kind of agree about Trinnamann, but he hasn't exactly taken advantage of his opportunities either. The bad quarterback play has squandered his strengths as a receiver. The QB play wasn't going to be much different under Anae.

That brings me to Mangum. There is no such thing as a can't miss prospect. Talent won't make you into a great quarterback. Anae fed him with an easy offense to learn as a freshman, he had some nice receivers, and he did well. Unfortunately, when he got put into an offense that requires him to read defenses, he isn't making good decisions. He misses receivers and has been inaccurate more often than not. That's on him more than the coaches.

Micah Simon doesn't have 4.3 speed. Whoever told you that was lying.

Ula Tolutau is only playing because there is no other healthy competent running backs on the roster. He's an out of shape RM who hasn't played in years. He'll get better, but the staff doesn't have a choice but to play him since he's so far ahead of the other running backs.

The best secondary in years? It was never going to be that after losing Nacua. Instead it's been safety by committee.

The top 3 linebackers were great, but there was very little depth as we are witnessing now. The loss of Bernard and the Pau'u injuries have hamstrung what the coaches could so with that group
