Shooting 3's in transition is a GREAT shot.
That is assuming you have guys that can shoot the 3. Last year byu only had 1 and a half 3 point shooters.
I'll take a somewhat uncontested 3 in transition every time over any shot that isn't a layup or a dunk.
Unfortunately we shot less 3's last year than almost every other team in the country.
