If you've never done wiring before, I'd get an electrician buddy.
You don't want to wire it up wrong or not tie-back the spare wires properly, that's a lot of current those conductors can draw, be it 120 or 240.

This would work, an international converter could do it, but do they have an receptacle for US 220? You'd have to find
