Wait, are you serious?!?

A head coach that is upset and has a reaction to a really bad mistake is a fatal flaw in your book? Seriously, I cannot tell if you are joking. If you are not, then clearly you have never watch much of the best coaches in football. If you want a HC that doesn't get fiery, react negatively to mistakes or blow up at players, good luck succeeding.

If anything, I think we needed much more of that from Sitake. He was way too nice and buddy, buddy with players. I want a lot more accountability from Sitake personally and to see more of that fire. I want him to justifiably light up a few guys for mistakes and poor play. He needs to be feared more by the players, to be honest.

The correct answer from "the Prince" by Machiavelli is that IT IS "better to be feared than loved". Sitake is loved by the players and fans. But, right now it doesn't seem that many of the players fear him enough to work extra hard, pay attention to the details and not make mistakes. Guys who play for Saban, Urban Meyers, Harbaugh, Belichick are terrified of making mistakes, not giving effort or not executing. That drives the players to work towards perfection. That is what seems to be missing this year with the Cougars team.
