I find it hysterically amusing how angry people get with a BYU Provo reference.
This seriously makes me laugh. I'll never understand people, I guess.
Sorry I don't have any tips on the timing of an application. Good luck with it. I'm convinced the main reason I was admitted as a transfer was because I had a strong letter of recommendation from a BYU professor. My associate's degree grades were good, but I think the recommendation went a long way.
