gallon tank. Corys stay small and would work. Any kind of Loach would get too big. Another problem is most tropical fish are schooling fish and do better if you have groups of at least 5 of the same kind together. Even corys are recommended to be kept in groups. A 5 gallon tank is just too small to keep anything but maybe a school of 5 neon tetras and a couple corys.
