One of the major problems last year is that we had too many "nice guys" on the staff. You can have a players coach as a head coach (see Pete Carroll) only if you have disciplinarians as the assistants to keep the toughness around (Dan Quinn, Tom Cable, etc. with Pete in Seattle). It actually can be a system that works quite well if used effectively.
