the main reason he needs to shoot more 3's is because he is supposed to be

a stretch 4 next to yoeli. If he isn't in the corner or on the perimeter then he is in a place that can let other teams double yoeli and allows an extra defender to guard dribble drives.

get him in the corner and tell him to shoot every time he gets it with a reasonable amount of space to get a shot off.
