Math Basics - 12 threes at .33% = 4 makes = 12 points; 12 twos at .50% = 6 makes

= 12 points, but how many guards are usually hitting 50 percent of their shots. If the guard is up to .40% from three and is taking 12 shots, then you have made almost 5 = 15 points. 12 shots to make fifteen points with twos would mean 7.5 baskets, or almost 60% shooting.
