This is an interesting example. He ties the team culture to an ethnic culture, but not in a mean spirited way
A post I would consider racisit is one that says, "Kalani is a terrible coach because he is Polynesian. Polys just suck as leaders..." That, to me, is a racist post. The post you referenced ties the team culture back to the poster's own interpretation of Polynesian culture, so it brings race into the mix, but I don't find this a racist post. But I understand if others feel differently.

Also, I don't know that I agree with his assessment. I do not know very many people who identify as "polys", but my trainer on my mission was and my take from my time with him is that because they can be so nice and open-hearted, they can also be very strict when you cross the proverbial line and extremely disciplinarian when needed. It is not all laid-back 24/7. The culture of the team this year does not fit that at all. NO ONE dropped the hammer on this team, and it needed to be dropped several times!
