Seriously. I saw this post & tried think of good ones. All I remember is an awkward one for asking.
A boy once asked a daughter to prom by putting a bucket of ping pong balls on porch with a note saying. "Finally got enough balls to ask you to prom". Her Dad almost didn't let her go with the kid. Wouldn't really fit this anyway.
