Unless you're always at the doctor...
...or have a bunch of pre-existing conditions, you should look in to Liberty Healthshare or an equivalent. I'm also self-employed, single, and pay $200/month. I had no problem when I went in for a knee problem last year (doctor visit, x-rays, MRI). Everything was reimbursed less the yearly $500 deductible.
