The first 5-7 years of his career were really good and then he fell off dramatically. I agree his back had something to do with that, but it goes deeper than that. Not the best drive or work ethic. Also, please never compare Howard’s career to those of Stockton, Russell, Robinson and Barkley. Howard received a lot of those accolades in part because there weren’t many other good Centers at the time.
