Sure, USC dominated the PAC in football but UCLA or (later) AZ in bb. and Stanford for Olympic sports. ALA in football but Kentucky in BB. etc. I dont think there are many schools that have dominated a conference the way BYU did. Then throw in all the other factors: religion, academics, fans, etc.

Those fans hated us for all those reasons before the hilarious "BYU tried to destroy the MWC" mythology. And its especially humorous coming from Wyoming and CSU fans who originated the "airport meeting" to destroy the 16 member WAC.
