I can afford to go to, but if any of you make it out to Wisconsin or Washington, I'll see you there! I owned season tickets every year when I lived in Utah, and would still if I weren't 1500 miles away.

This notion of "I'll only be a real fan if we're good" is the problem with our lame society today. Many people "only stay married when things are good", and it's lame. Let's just call it like it is.

Go tell Cleveland Browns fans that you're pouting because we've had a couple rough years. You'll be sure to get a lot of sympathy. All these BYU "fans" who just moan about BYU the whole time...what are you doing? Quit being lame and start being fans. Help fix the leaky roof, don't tear down the house. It feels like some of you would be happier if BYU did just shut down athletics. I would not.

You take the lumps of the down years, but you gotta keep cheering, because that's what fans do.
