I don't post much, but I really agree with your post.  I am a Golden Cougar and a season ticket holder.  I am also a frustrated fan.  However, I have not even considered not donating and not attending the games.  There is a huge difference between our school administration and athletic department not getting it 100% right, but still willing to invest in our sports programs and the athletics programs and schools like San Jose State, New Mexico, Rice, Marshall, etc. that are either unwilling or unable to spend at the level BYU spends.

If you want BYU to keep pumping dollars into the program, then the fans have to keep supporting the team, and not throw hissy fits and temper trantrums every time we have a bad year or even a string of bad years.  Fan support is the difference between a good team and a good program.
