I really don't have any heartburn about it. If there was more at stake than BYU trying to muddle its way through independence I might feel differently. Home schedule is one consideration, the direction of the program is another and the future prospects of the program are yet another. All these layers eventually have to be addressed by BYU fans. I want to see the program moving in some type of direction and making progress while doing it. The last 7 years have been stagnant. We have heard a lot of promises and prognostications, but there is very little to show for it.....other than traveling all over the country playing P5 teams and an ESPN contract. It feels a lot more like surviving than thriving right now for me.
