This just isn’t true
Especially now with scholarships being full cost of attendance. There are also special NCAA funds for kids who have other needs like clothing, etc. If a kid wants to give his check to his parents that’s his decision, but athletes get enough to live very well. It’s hard to hear someone complain about money who has the latest iPhone, 10 pairs of Jordan’s in his closet, a pair of beats headphones, a PS4, a flat screen, and a bunch of tattoos.
