Being a “great” work doesn’t mean it
Will resonate with everyone.
The Great Gatsby is an era piece as is Little Women. I appreciate what the stand for but can’t stand to read them as the subject matter bores me. Disliking a work doesn’t mean one can’t appreciate the writing or artistry.
