We recently had a ward fast for a young guy in my ward who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bone cancer. They basically told him that surgery is his only option. If they can't get it all with surgery, they won't be able to stop its progression. He just had his surgery and we are all anxiously waiting to hear back from pathology to find out if they were able to get it all. Scary situation.

His youngest son is only 8. I really hope that kid doesn't have to grow up without a daddy.
