Nice. I let my kids do the design and paint, but we do the rest together.

It's a fun way to teach some physics. If you do it right, you can show your kid just how smart you are and prove it on the track, all while instilling an interest in science. I mean, what kid wouldn't be super interested in science if it meant beating all their friends in competition?
