The PAC should have worked out something, anything, that would have brought OU and UT to the PAC. The reality of things is that the PAC's geography and lack of high profile teams, much more than money, is making the PAC irrelevant. Fans in the east know/care about USC, UCLA, Oregon, Stanford and, to a lesser extent, Washington. Nobody in the east (heck, nobody in the PAC footprint) cares about Oregon State, Washington State, Cal, Utah, Colorado, Arizona or Arizona State. HOWEVER, had the PAC picked up Texas and OU, that would have been a game-changer.
