...and your conference is suffering as a result from the lack of brass ones
...compared to the other p5 conferences. Kids wipe out on skateboards doing foolish stunts all the time and when they get up wincing and grimacing in pain saying, "I meant to do that" or "that was awesome" nobody really believes them.

The Pac12 would be so much stronger financially and competitively had they pulled the trigger and gotten the deal done with Texas and OK, and it's not even close (by several orders of magnitude). The Pac12 is feeling the pain from dropping the ball and having to settle and losing out in the expansion race. Once the ACC's new network comes online in 2019 the Pac12 will be at an even greater competitive and financial disadvantage.

They will find it even harder going forward to keep up with the other p5 conferences the next round of network contract deals. This will put immense pressure on the power schools in your conference (like USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington) to do something drastic to keep from falling even further behind and potentially fracture the conference or cause dominoes to fall regarding conference alignments and memberships.
