These days I get accused of being an animal rights activist, and I've never been mean to an animal...Nor do I feel bad about 30 years ago having had a lack of reverence for the corpse of a roadkilled STRAY cat. (Who's species might I add is resonsible for numerous other wild native species going extinct.) If it was someones pet, I would not have done that.
