I actually think the heat is a bit of an advantage for the US against UEFA teams
because the US plays a summer schedule. Basically every American player except the foreign-born guys will have grown up playing summer soccer and the hallmark of a US team is out-fitnessing the other team.
Of course it won’t be much of an advantage against CAF or CONMEBOL opponents.
