Plenty of people put their own current emotions and desires and favorites above all else. Some are already set against him, so they'd rather "endure" a few more losses so we can just move on. They don't believe he can progress as a HC and have him maxed out, so might as well rip the bandaid off with more losses and move on.
I will guarantee you there are people acting a bit too excited to rub it in peoples faces if Kalani loses and he's gone. They're just fairweather fans if fans at all, so it doesn't really matter. The thing to realize and I guess be ok with, is how many different kinds of "fans" we have on here. We have die hard goggled everything is always peachy guys. We also have the "I guess I'll support BYU athletics because I went to BYU" guys. A little of everything. Don't put it past a few guys to be perfectly fine with a losing season just so they can be right in prematurely hating Sitake.
Don't forget, we also had the legend on staff. That hurt a LOT of people. They still can't emotionally and logically separate the player and the coach, so he couldn't possibly be responsible for what happened. It was Sitake's fault Detmer failed. "Unfairly let go" lol. Should have been given 3 or 4 years to establish an offense. lol We've seen it all. It's not surprising who can become an enemy when an emotional legend has to take a fall and you don't want to be ok with it.
