You see how history gets all muddled?
The idea behind a "superteam" is that multiple headliners are put together. Nobody called the Spurs or Pistons of the 2000's superteams, even though they were stacked with all-stars. You know why? Because Parker, Ginobili, Billups, Hamilton, Wallace (x2), were not headliners. Tim Duncan was the only real headliner among both those teams. The idea of a superteam was multiple headliners coming together to win championships. Until KD signed it was Curry's Warriors with Thompson & Draymond and a deep roster. These were the "superteams":
Garnett-Allen-Pierce
James-Wade-Bosh
James-Love-Irving
