Well now you’re just arguing the definition of “superteam.” Call it whatever you
want, the point is that GS was an elite team before Durant (one of the best teams in NBA history).
Since their is no clear end in sight, I’m okay with the idea of players joining together to take them down. Because they all know that they can’t beat Golden State without significant help.
And as far as Draymond not winning DPOY until 2017, he was a back to back runner up for the award the two seasons prior. So although he hadn’t actually been handed the award, he was certainly playing defense at a DPOY level.
