Strageways wasn't their best album but it's great. Girlfriend in a Coma was
a little goofy, but in the same vein as Frankly Mr. Shankly off Queen is Dead which is their best.
Morrissey and Marr felt the Strangeways album is the band's best, with Morrissey asserting that, "We say it quite often. At the same time. In our sleep. But in different beds."
