Tanner couldn't hit the broad side of a barn half the time. Hoge had things humming against USU then got injured. Then it was a carousel of chaos. Then we were transferring players from other positions to RB because of injuries.
Your starter and backup are going to have the best grasp of the offense as they're getting the first team reps. You're not running your full offense with your 3rd 4th and 5th string QB and RB's that weren't playing that position to start the season.
I just don't think it's possible to know how much was the offensive play book being weak vs injuries vs culture.
