Thanks for that lecture on the legal details of a mortgage. Because I
didn't know any of that. Wait, I did and that had nothing to do with the point of my post. It was clear in my post that I fully realize that contractually this is fair game.

And I don't care that you will clearly disagree with how I feel about it, but I don't look at contracts as just strictly a legal agreement. I don't do it in business or personally. Ethics and integrity for me are not defined and bounded by some government or legalese. I can get away with a lot of things legally and contractually that I don't because of a higher standard I hold myself to and the often unwritten meaning behind contracts. I've read that this line of thinking leads to people not getting "theirs" or being taken advantage of but this has not happened to me to any large degree at all in my life. I clearly understand that many don't feel this way and it is why I posted.
