My self justification is the house is clean, new appliances, in good shape...
...I have made all my payments over the last 12 years. The bank is still way ahead with a solid home and interest. So to me, they still come out a winner. I just live 1700 miles away, haven't lived in it since 2011 and don't want to do the renting game. That's how I justify it to myself and still "be a man".
