Entitlement is not prerequisite to success!

The coaches have the responsibility to designate the starting QB based on performance. What fans think or say has little or nothing to do with the decision.  It is not about personality, likeability, it is about leadership and effectiveness as a QB.

Mangum may or may not be the one to lead the team, it has nothing to do with how he is treated.  The coaches treat all the players the same and it is irresponsible for fans to think otherwise.

In the end, coaches, fans and the school want to win games and coaches are not hired to experiment at game time.  If a team gets a substantial lead on its opponent in a game, coaches welcome the opportunity to give backup players an opportunity to play.

Entitlement is not a prerquisite to success, regardless of what professional career one selects, most positions have to be earned and are based on performance.

Who really knows what it really means to be successful? Some players will go on to do well in a professional career in sports, others may be just as successful doing something completely different.

Whether Mangum starts or not, does not detemine his personal success or happiness. For Mangum or any other player success might be working in another profession.

Personally, I went through 5 majors at College  and never really found success until after about 7 years into my career.

Life is a journey and career selection is just a part of that journey, our success is not detemine by fans, coaches  and media, it is determine by us, our attittude and preparation for what we do best.
