Requested they drop PDL and move back to glorified intramural soccer. Less funding. Were not willing to facilitate admission for players coaches were recruiting.

Coaches know that without that support they will not be competitive.

This is disappointing and confusing because both soccer and rugby have the potential to be great ambassador programs for the church locally and internationally. Isnt that what the church cares about most, image? Would it really hurt to pump a little money in to these programs? Or just allow private donations.

I would really like to know the back story because it seems really shortsided.
