which is playing out right now with the new medical coverages the P5 have voted
into play. Many of them have medical schools and others have deep pockets. BYU is very much like some of the others that might be on the edge of going into the red and don't have a medical school to offset the expenses.
Because the P5 are still allowed to subsidize the sports teams those on the edge can pick it up via student fees or pubic funding. However, if I were a betting man, the discussions are being held right now to outlaw subsidies for P5 teams. It will cause some very big movements in finances and other things, but really could break them away from the G5 forever.

If the program can’t be even close to relevant then there is a valid argument as to the sustainability
