You were half right.
Too many differences. Nebraska is possibly the most boring state in the union and it’s the only FBS program in the entire state. Utah has 3 FBS programs and a location which offers tremendous recreational opportunities.
YES, NEBRASKA ONLY HAS ONE MAJOR STATE SCHOOL. I'VE NEVER BEEN THERE SO I CAN'T JUDGE THEIR RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.
Plus you add to the fact that Nebraska plays in the Big 10 and hosts some of college footballs most prestigious programs.
THEY HAVE SOLD OUT FOR DECADES PLAYING ALL KINDS OF TEAMS — NOT JUST B12 AND B1G TEAMS. BYU FANS USED TO BE PRETTY AWESOME, BUT MANY ARE VERY FAIR WEATHER FANS RIGHT NOW.

If the program can’t be even close to relevant then there is a valid argument as to the sustainability
