I agree with this, people often think correlation equals causation
Programs go through highs and lows. I'm just as apathetic as I was in 2002-2004 when the program was in shambles, yet I stayed a loyal fan who watched most if not all of the games I could.
That's the beauty of sports and fandom, the highs are even more high when you've gone through the lows with that team.
