What purpose does it serve, especially at this point? What benefits are there to

Being negative? He played for BYU, had some fairly significant injuries and is a BYU guy. Why bother with anything negative. Focus on the positive, especially for former players. No one is trying to say he was the best ever.

I don’t think a true fan would tear down a former player like that. It is classless and ultimately hurts the program.
