Dodgers were anticipating landing a big free agent. I bet they land him to a
along term deal. They’ve missed having the highest payroll in baseball this year after 4 years and want to get back that bragging right.
I’m just salty the Braves couldn’t give Baltimore every one of their terrible relievers and closer(s) for Machado. Heck, I wouldn’t care if they even re signed Machado to a long term deal as long as they were able to dump the group of chumps who have earned the title as the worst bullpen staff in baseball this year.
