I'm going with Hoge. Quick feet always win. I agree with the OP, he'll be out

Which is why coaches would be crazy to go with him

Mangum is injured prone too. Put the best QB in even if it's 2 or 3 games.

I'd bet money it won't be Critchlow.

It’s hard for me to understand the negativity around Mangum

Just like Taysom in 2016. Looked a lot worse than in prior years
CommodoreCoug

I didn't think he looked worse in 2016, not sure what the stats say.
HighHorse

Stats say he was way worse

This. And honestly I thought Critchlow looked just as good.

Yeah, at no time during the season did Tanner look good to me.

I thought Hoge looked good in the USU game till he got hurt

He threw 9 passes in that game. Insufficient sample size

He was leading 21-something and driving...what could have been in that game.
Florwood

He had just thrown a pick 6

Critchlow doesn’t have a big arm, and his release is slow

I think Mangum struggled because we didn’t have a coach dedicated to QB’s.

I think the reality is that TFD should have been the QB coach

I think it’s 2. Mangum and Hoge

The best thing for the program would be Mangum being an effective starter this

Hoge will be the backup QB this year and the starter if Mangum goes down.

The coaches have acknowledged multiple times that Hoge's health is questionable.
