Anybody else read these discussions and wonder if maybe we’re asking the wrong
question about church school enrollment?

Listen, I fully acknowedge the part church education has played in educating generations of leaders, allowing kids from otherwise desolate LDS dating wastelands to find spouses in the 1900s, etc., but the church has grown now.

I wonder if, when the brethren have discussions about this, there’s a couple of them who say something to the effect of “maybe if we quit growing church education more kids will strengthen the institute programs and LDS dating scenes of their local universities, and going to BYU will not seem like such a necessity anymore.”
