seminary. The participation rate in institute is horrible even at UVU and with YSA wards it no longer serves as social construct. However, the argument about having them stay spread out across the country is clearly a desired outcome. The only problem I see is the activity levels of the post college age BYU vs. no BYU....huge difference. So is the church really at a point that they want to do that?
I would rather have them reduce the number of years you are allowed to stay at BYU. Do what Harvard does....8 semesters total. Fix the majors that are out of whack and give preference to students that apply with an associates degree.
